Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically within the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar like The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with these films. The reviewer began her journey at the end of 2009 when she became famous in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She continued to be a part of the site through January of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. The actress was part in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would frequently appear on the episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
